Accomplishments:

  • 29 years in the Petrochemical Industry
  • 24 years in the ministry; 15 years as Pastor, Friendship Church
  • Founder and President of Brother to Brother, a non-profit organization that led over 100 churches toward racial reconciliation.
  • Founder and Former Co-Chairman of Miracle Match for Life, a partnership between Gulf Coast Marrow Donor Program, Life Share Blood and the Julie Rogers Gift of Life Program. The program added over 4,500 marrow donors to the marrow registry and raised over $350,000 in four years.
  • After Hurricane Rita, appointed Chairman of the Recovery Coalition of SETX. In conjunction with local, state and federal elected officials secured over 502.5 million of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and $88 million in Health and Human Services funds for the state of Texas.
