Financial Aid Statement of Purpose:
The purpose of Legacy’s financial aid program is to enroll qualified students who could not otherwise afford to attend, thus maximizing the strength of the student body.
Financial Aid Policy:
All financial aid awards are made on the basis of a family’s demonstrated financial need, and are reserved for families who have no alternative to requesting aid. All families requesting financial aid must complete the Financial Aid for School Tuition (FAST) application. There is a $36 fee payable to FAST via major credit card for each family application.

As Requested by FAST please submit a copy of following to the address given by FAST:
- Legacy Application for financial assistance
- Most recent federal tax return
- Most recent W-2 form
Legacy’s Financial Aid Committee reviews the information submitted and calculates the demonstrated need using FAST guidelines.
In the event that the total demonstrated need of all families exceeds the financial aid budget, the following categories may be considered in allocating awards in order to make the best fit of available resources.
Legacy Christian Academy also endorses and follows the NAIS Principles of Good Practice for financial aid, including:
-
Legacy requires adequate documentation of family resources when determining need.
-
Legacy does not use financial need as a consideration in determining a student’s eligibility for admissions.
-
Legacy assesses annually, in a consistent and equitable manner, each family’s ability to pay for education.
-
Legacy recognizes that the primary responsibility for financing a student’s independent school education rests with his/her family.
-
Legacy safeguards the confidentiality of all financial information supplied by a family.
Legacy Christian Academy’s financial aid policy is non-discriminatory on the basis of race, color, religion, gender, national, or ethnic origin.
