
Membership ApplicationPTF (Parent Teacher Fellowship) cordially invites you to become a member and active participant in your child's Educational experience.
Joining Legacy PTF is a great way to be involved with your child's experience at Legacy and to make some great new friends. PTF gives back to Legacy through teacher appreciation events, funding classroom wish lists, and general school funding donations (such as contributing to the cost of the playground.)
PTF sponsors the projects listed below. Please review the list and find one or more projects that you are interested in helping with. We need committed parents and grandparents to make each of these projects work.
School Supply Sale - August/Sept. - gather and package school supplies for Elementary
Teacher Appreciation - gives luncheons and special events as tokens of appreciation to all of our teachers (elementary, jr. high, and high school)
Book Fair - this group organizes and works the Book Fair, where kids, parents & grandparents can shop for books. This event encourages reading and provides books to our library.
Accelerated Reader Program - fosters reading comprehension and speed, and develops vocabulary. This group provides reward programs to encourage kids to read.
Carnival - This is a large group divided into committees that coordinates rides, food, booths, publicity, t-shirts, etc. This is a big fundraiser with proceeds benefitting the entire school.
Special Events - this group organizes events such as Donuts with Dad, Muffins with Mom, and Grandparents Day and provides hospitality services for the school.
Fundraisers - this group organizes fundraisers such as Brisket Sales (Labor Day & Easter), Smoked Turkey Sales (November), and Chocolate Dipped Strawberry Sales (February).
High School Snack Bar Fridays and Elementary Ice Cream Wednesdays - This group coordinates purchase & preparation of snacks, and works the snack bar and sells ice cream.
Please join us in supporting Legacy Christian Academy! WE NEED YOU. Membership form attached below. Please drop your form off by the school office or send to teacher in your child's folder. MEMBERSHIP FEE IS: $5.00 per family
