FAQ’s So what does being a paid for member of PTF mean?
Paying
PTF dues allows you to give back. For example this year’s dues are
earmarked for electric pencil sharpeners. We also paid for the railing
around the Elementary Recreational Building this year. We will also fund
teacher appreciation week. PTF would also like to give each teacher a
small stipend to help them obtain relevant teaching tools (ie. Classroom
libraries).
What other ways can I give to PTF?
Monetarily
you can request a list of projected goals from PTF and have any
donation you would like earmarked for that item/project. One need we
have is for our own building to store and sell items from. Underwriters
for spirit wear items are appreciated as well.
However,
your time is another way you can help. Volunteering to help set up
booths, plan events, call to schedule things or reminder calls to other
volunteers would all be beneficial to our organization.
What events is PTF responsible for?
PTF
is responsible for school supplies (it is a” fundraiser”), helping
coordinate Legacy Launch, Open House, Grandparents Day, and Field Day.
How can I stay connected to everyone outside of this webpage?
LCA
PTF has a secret group on Facebook. You can be added to the group via
Crystal Treme. A secret group is unique in that only members can see any
of the activity thus protecting the anonymity of our children and
events.
