Cross Country

Taylor Arceneaux received Legacy Christian Academy's first ever Cross-Country medal at the Pleasure Island Cross Country Meet on Saturday, Sept 29.  She placed 9th out of 24 varsity runners.  Lauren Stafford quickly followed with a medal of her own finishing 9th out of 50 Junior Varsity runners.

Shawn Faries and Ian Wall ran in the Junior Varsity boys division placing 31st and 37th out of 43 runners.  Their places were good considering they werefacing a talented group of runners and a grueling 3 mile course.  The next meet is Saturday Oct 6 at Anahuac. 


Taylor Arceneaux gave Legacy Christian its first Cross-Country medal Saturday. Finishing 9th out of 24 public schools participants in the Varsity race, she caught and passed one more runner to finish 9th, with just a few feet remaining in the race. Lauren Stafford quickly followed up with a medal of her own in the Junior Varsity race grabbing 9th place out of 50 runners. Lauren kept a strong steady pace to wear down the large group of runners. Sean Faries and Ian Wall ran a grueling 3 mile against a talented field of 43 runners to finish 31st and 37th respectively. Congratulations! Next Cross-Country meet is this coming Saturday at Anahuac.

September 15th meet at Rice University:

Taylor Arceneaux finished 29th out of 92 runners.
Sean Faries finished 36th out of 98 runners.


Sean Faries ran at Bridge City’s meet on August 25th and placed 38th out of 60 runners. 


Taylor Arceneaux and Lauren Stafford ran at the Dayton H.S. cross-country meet on September 1st. Out of 45 varsity girls, Taylor placed 22nd and Lauren placed 31st. Our next meet will be this Saturday at Claiborne Park. Congratulations ladies!
