Legacy Christian Academy - Warrior Strong!

GRADES: Numerical and letter grades are given in all classes for each semester grading period.  The GPA includes only work completed at Legacy Christian Academy unless otherwise noted on transcript.  Our letter grade system converts to a grade point average.

Scale:  A (100-90); B (89-80); C (79-70); F (69-0)
Conversion is as follows:  Non-Weighted Courses are:   A (4.0); B (3.0); C (2.0); F (0.0)
Weighted Courses are:  AP Course +1; Honors Course +.5

CLASS RANK: Given the graduating class size, the academic strength of students, and rigorous college preparatory curriculum at Legacy Christian Academy, individual class rank is not considered a significant measure of a student’s achievement and is not computed.  The valedictorian and salutatorian are the only ranks designated.

LCA Seniors are highly encouraged to take the SAT/ACT; only the top 60% of the state and national seniors take the exams.
