Legacy Christian Academy is thrilled to announce that senior Ethan Ryne Hall has been accepted into the highly selective Mays Business Honors Program at Texas A&M University, a remarkable achievement that highlights the excellence of our students and the strength of our academic programs.
The Mays Business School is ranked No. 50 among undergraduate business programs in the U.S. according to the 2025 Poets&Quants rankings, with an overall acceptance rate of approximately 30% for its incoming undergraduate class and a six-year graduation rate of over 87%. The Business Honors Program, however, is even more elite, admitting only about 96 students per class out of highly competitive applicant pools that have historically exceeded 1,500 to 2,200, resulting in acceptance rates around 4-6%. Adding to its prestige, 70% of Business Honors graduates enroll in or complete graduate programs at top institutions like Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton within five years, with 100% job or graduate school placement overall. This honor positions Ethan among a select group of exceptional future business leaders, reflecting the rigorous preparation and holistic development fostered at LCA.
Here at Legacy, Ethan has excelled as a multifaceted leader and scholar, set to graduate with honors this May. His academic achievements include a superscored SAT of 1340 and advanced coursework such as AP Psychology, AP Literature, AP Chemistry, AP Pre-Calculus, Dual Credit U.S. History, and current enrollments in AP Language, AP Biology, AP Calculus, and Dual Credit Government & Economics—courses that embody LCA’s commitment to challenging and enriching education.
Ethan’s leadership at LCA shines brightly in his roles as Student Council President, where he guides school events, fundraisers, and spirit weeks while serving as a liaison between students and administration; National Honor Society member, contributing to initiatives like Operation Christmas Child and mentoring third-grade “buddies”; and one of the Varsity Basketball Team Captains, hoping to lead the team to state this season. As an accomplished athlete and performer, he has earned First Team All-District in basketball, TAPPS 2A District Honorable Mention in theatre, and lead roles in productions such as Beauty and the Beast Jr. and Caverns. A 5-Star Thespian and President’s Thespian Scholar, Ethan also enriches our school community as a guitarist and vocalist in Warrior Worship, embodying LCA’s values of spiritual growth and service.
Complementing his LCA experiences, Ethan’s internships at Stifel Investment Services, along with dedicated volunteer work in ministries like Matityahu Homeless Ministry and Gather the Children, demonstrate his well-rounded character and alignment with our mission to develop servant leaders.
Ethan’s acceptance to the Mays Business Honors Program is a proud moment for our entire LCA family. It exemplifies the dedication, faith, and excellence we nurture in our students every day.
Ethan will begin his studies in the Honors Program at Texas A&M this fall, carrying forward the strong foundation built at Legacy Christian Academy. Congratulations, Ethan—we can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make!
