February 6, 2024 - Annual Gumbo Dinner and Bonfire Community Event
Please come join us for a jam-packed community night. There will be a gumbo dinner*, the third-grade Famous Americans presentations, and three basketball games (senior night) followed by the bonfire. An approximate schedule of events is listed below.
4:00-5:30 PM Pick up your pre-ordered Gumbo dinners in the Dabney Foyer. Order your dinners through Hometown Ticketing. Seating will be available in the Rec Gym or in the bleachers of the Dabney if you're watching the basketball games.
4:30-5:30 JV Boys Basketball Game (senior night, Dabney)
5:30 Gumbo sales will begin for those who didn't pre-order. While supplies last!
5:30-6:30 Varsity Girls Basketball Game (senior night, Dabney)

Dear LCA Parents,
Based on feedback from the recent surveys, the LCA Administration and School Board are interested in hearing more of your feedback concerning our dress code. To do that, we are forming a focus group. We are looking for 10-12 parents to serve in this capacity. We would like to have representation for all grade levels and backgrounds. We also want working parents to be able to participate, so we will schedule the meetings accordingly. At this time, we anticipate having only two meetings.
